Round Steel FireBob Hearth
We make these in three diameters to cover the UK hearth regulations for the three sizes of Firebob.
1100mm for the FireBob 69
1300mm for the FireBob 90
1400mm for the FireBob 100
The hearth is slightly raised from floor level in case you want to allow for an air supply to be positioned underneath.
For UK Building regulations the hearth should extend 225mm in front of the stove door and 150mm to the sides of the fire. These round hearths ensure you have the 225mm clearance in front of the stove even when the fire is rotated to face a different direction.
If your FireBob isn’t going to be spun around, placed in the corner of a room for instance, then a different shaped/sized hearth may be appropriate. If you’d like a custom shape/size then please get in touch.
